App Estimates When You’re Entering The “Caffeine Danger Zone”

It’s 12 a.m. and you can’t sleep. Maybe it’s that late-afternoon latte that’s robbing you of evening slumber?

If you want to understand how coffee and other caffeinated beverages and food affect your sleep routine, track your buzz with the Up Coffee app, which is available for free on iOS devices and doesn’t require Jawbone’s UP wristband.

To use the app, you manually enter your daily caffeine intake and based on personal stats like height, weight and target bedtime, Up Coffee alerts you if you are entering the caffeine danger zone, tells you how “wired” you are and estimates when you’ll be ready for bed.
