Children’s Museum of Houston Hits Above Par Raising More Than $60,000 [Event Coverage]

The Children’s Museum of Houston hosted a triumphant afternoon of golf clubs, putting greens and scorecards at the 21st Annual Spring Golf Classic on April 12, 2016 at Memorial Park Golf Course.

Players enjoyed a delicious catered lunch by Becks Prime before competing in a Florida-style scramble tournament. The fun-filled afternoon featured on-course margaritas and wings. Guests were also treated to a silent auction where they bid on unique items such as a 22.00 carat smoky brown quartz necklace set in 14k yellow gold donated by Uptown Diamond.

Chaired by Allison and Geoff Leach, the tournament was an overall victory raising more than $60,000 for the Museum’s free and reduced admissions programs, ensuring that no visitor is turned away due to financial constraints.
