Easter Seals Greater Houston Throws Fashionably Thrilling Luncheon [Event Coverage]

Over 300 guests came decked out in their best haute hat attire to support Easter Seals Greater Houston at the 18th Annual Hats Off to Mothers Luncheon.

Guests were welcomed with a reception, informal fashion show by Neiman Marcus Galleria, followed by lunch. This year’s chairs, Patty Dominguez, Patty Herrera, Christine Falgout, Jo Lynn Falgout and Kimberly Falgout, presented the 2017 honorees—Lindley Arnoldy, Monica Bickers, Blakely Griggs, Michelle Maresh, Alice Mosing, Mary Tere Perusquia, Rachel Regan, Susan Sarofim, Lisa Simon and Heather Simpson—by sharing their stories of selfless service.

After the honoree presentation, Tenola Clark, an Air Force veteran, shared her journey of learning to live with physical and mental disabilities after her seven years of dedicated service. Hearts were moved as she opened up about how her service dog, Nessa, is already changing her life for the better.

More than $178,000 was raised for programs of Easter Seals Greater Houston, which serves children and adults with all types of disabilities.
