Food & Wine Lovers Delight in a World of Flavors at Farm & Vineyard Faire [Event Coverage]

More than 450 guests attended the inaugural Farm & Vineyard Faire on October 8, 2016 at Fulshear Run, a new master-planned acreage community located in Fulshear.

“Our inaugural event featured an afternoon faire of gourmet farm-to-fork bites prepared by talented local chefs, highlighted by wine pairings and cooking demonstrations,” says Doug Konopka, DHK Development president and developer of Fulshear Run. “Tents featuring creative food samplings lined the streets and roundabouts and guests enjoyed exquisite wines from Napa and world class flavors from as far away as Uruguay, Spain and Australia.”

Following the Faire, special guests enjoyed a Pop-Up Supper featuring celebrity chef Monica Pope of Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters,” and Bart Black, owner and executive chef of Black’s Market Table, who created a delicious farm to table menu.

Proceeds from the event benefited two local 501(c)(3) organizations: Arts Fulshear and The Farmer’s Market (via Forever Fulshear).
