Foodies Dig in to Benefit Texas Children’s Hospital [Event Coverage]

More than 300 guests were treated to delectable delights from some of Houston’s top chefs at the second annual Cooking Up a Cure event benefiting the Food Allergy Program at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Upon arrival, revelers were each given a sticker representing a particular food allergy which they were to follow when sampling food throughout the evening. At each chef’s station, a chalkboard signified which allergens were absent from their dish.

The memorable evening raised $170,000 for the program, which provides cutting edge research, education and patient care to children suffering from food allergies.
