Have a Heart, Wear Red in February

While heart disease affects everyone, 8 million women in the United States live with heart disease, and 34 million women are at risk for developing the disease.

The American Heart Association’s Go Red program helps raise awareness about women’s risk for heart disease and importance of lifestyle factors like exercise to reduce those risks.

During February several heart awareness events are taking place, including National Wear Red Day, Feb. 5, as part of American Heart Month. To show your support, you can purchase many Go Red fitness accessories and items online, including athletic pants, tank tops and yoga wear.
