Historic Hotel, Holiday Favorite

Built in 1910, the Saint Paul Hotel has a brand of sophistication that comes only with age—the distinction of a grand hotel that has seen thousands of guests come and go for more than a century. The lobby, with its graceful columns and chandeliers, is a uniquely elegant setting and the imposing exterior, constructed in the Italian Renaissance Revival style, has long distinguished the 254-room luxury hotel in downtown St. Paul as a Minnesota icon.

The holiday season, which has its own inescapable air of romance and nostalgia, is a memorable time at the hotel. The Saint Paul will continue to host its traditional live radio play “It’s a Wonderful Life” in the Promenade Ballroom, as well as jazz performances in the Lobby Bar. Afternoon teas in the lobby, held year-round, are particularly popular in December, and The St. Paul Grill and M ST. Cafe feature special holiday menus.
