Houston Methodist Supporters Trek to Colorful Colorado for Peak Performances 2016 [Event Coverage]

Escaping the heat for the cooler temperatures of Colorado, Cam and Rod Canion, Nancy and Jack Dinerstein and Lesha and Tom Elsenbrook hosted more than 100 Houston Methodist patrons to a multifaceted event on July 14, 2016 in Aspen, Colorado.

Golfers gathered in teams for 18 holes as they enjoyed the incredible views of the mountains at the Grand Rounds Golf Open, and the non-golfers took a peek into two fabulous homes during Home Tours at New Heights. Joining in on the day’s activities were Houston Methodist physicians, dermatologist Emily M. Mintz, M.D. and orthopedic surgeon Bradley Weiner, M.D.

Following a full day, supporters gathered at the Aspen Golf Club for an outdoor reception featuring remarks by Houston Methodist President and CEO Marc L. Boom, M.D., regarding the latest advances in research, education and patient care.

The evening concluded with a raffle drawing featuring extraordinary prizes including a his and hers jewelry package from Tenenbaum Classic Jewelers.

All the funds raised from the event benefit the Translational Research Initiative at Houston Methodist Research Institute.
