Denver’s beloved Colorado National Bank building, built in 1915 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, will become the much-anticipated Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center Hotel.
The 230-room hotel will showcase many of the building’s historical details, including a three-story atrium with white marble colonnades and 16 meticulously restored murals by famous Western artist Alan Tupper True that were first installed in 1925.
The bank’s vaults have been incorporated into the hotel’s 6,000 square feet of meeting space, redesigned as three boardrooms, with the original 33-inch steel doors intact.
Along with amenities including a fitness center, a 24-hour business center, and the hotel’s original concept restaurant and bar, Range, Renaissance Denver Downtown will provide guests with unique insights into the city’s best attractions.
More than a concierge service, Renaissance Navigators will be on hand to make personal recommendations on everything from local breweries to fourteeners and farm-to-table restaurants.
