River Oaks District Boasts a Cut Above the Rest

The chic River Oaks District is home to Dior, Hermès and the iPic Theater, and exciting dining options are starting to unfold.

Steak 48, a new sister to Phoenix’s Steak 44, arrives this spring in an upscale, generous two-story space boasting a vast menu of prime beef, as well as a raw bar with luxuries such as Dungeness crab cocktail and Hawaiian poke.

Steak cuts are available small and large, and a petite filet mignon tastes just as fine as its bigger menu pals, the bone-in KC strip or the domestic wagyu filet.

Anticipate more than big steaks: There’s a prime steakhouse meatloaf, bone-in short rib and a heritage pork chop, to name just a few. But first, start with one of the stellar salads.
