Rustic Italian Food Pronto!

Love Italian fare but no time to linger? Fast-casual yet classy, the menu at Spezzo has a fine selection of Italian food that is quickly cooked but doesn’t taste that way.

The chef-driven menu includes made-from-scratch pizzas, salads with house-made dressings, custom protein entrées and panini sandwiches.

Vegetarians will relish the unique entrée called zucchini cakes, which are crisp zucchini that’s layered like a casserole and sauced with spicy puttanesca, marinara, lemon butter or Marsala porcini cream. The rib-sticking meatball parm hero sandwich is piled with marinara and mozzarella on Empire Baking Co. semolina rolls, making it a well-“bred” choice.
