Chef Jason Dady who currently has five restaurant concepts throughout San Antonio, opens Shuck Shack, a casual seafood eatery serving—you guessed it—oysters and seafood, along with wine, beer and island-style cocktails like the signature Piña Colada.
The atmosphere is lively and family-friendly with a playground for the kids and a roomy bar for adults. We can’t think of a more perfect Texas menu: Expect classic baked oysters like Rockefeller and Texas barbecue along with fish and chips or a giant Main lobster roll.
Fancier picks appear as specials like the tuna crudo with pickled beets and crowned with housemade olive oil ice cream. Count on spooning inviting soups during winter like clam chowder and lobster bisque with black pepper crema. Mmm, mmm, good.
