The Giving Spirit Shines Bright at Wishes Do Come True Gala [Event Coverage]

The Carole and Ronald Krist Samaritan Counseling Center welcomed 200 guests to celebrate its 30th anniversary on November 30, 2016.

Held at Hotel ZaZa, the magical evening featured sumptuous hors d’oeuvres alongside bubbles and wine, luxurious silent and live auctions, surprise caroling from the Harbor Light Choir, and keynote speaker Dr. Elizabeth McIngvale, who gave her touching testimony of battling OCD and the importance of having access to mental health care.

The giving spirit shone bright with the gala raising more than $233,000 to benefit the Center’s counseling assistance fund, which enables mental health services on a sliding fee scale for those in need.
