In celebration of the third annual Houston Night for Niños, Fabretto Children’s Foundation with chairs Luvi and Carlos Wheelock hosted a kick-off event on May 17, 2016 at Black & White where they honored the outstanding host committee and individuals for their efforts to eliminate one of the greatest injustices of today—extreme poverty.
Guests enjoyed Central American-inspired light bites and signature CASAMIGOS Tequila cocktails. Kathy Baczko, Fabretto’s executive vice president and chief development officer, engaged the crowd and spoke about the upcoming gala, a spectacular evening supporting Fabretto’s programs of education and nutrition to bring a better future for children in Nicaragua.
Taking place at The Hobby Center on October 13, the 2016 gala will include an open bar and delicious cuisine provided by Artista, along with exciting entertainment and sensational auction items. The event will honor the Fabretto volunteers, teachers, staff, talented students, local communities and generous supporters around the world while raising funds to support its important mission.
